(top) The addition of a graceful valance over the harsh top of vertical blinds to lend softness, made a world of difference in this guest room. Matching pillows and shams completed the new look and added to the "cozy" quotient.

(bottom) Ditching an old border and softening the blue walls was the first step in blending this study/den with the existing furniture. A long, faux-suede drapery gave the window a casual elegance and the room a focal point, framing a beautiful yard.
